Hibiscus and Mint leaves make for a refreshing herbal tea. Hibiscus leaves are storehouses of Vitamin C. Due to increasing popularity; it’s grown in many tropical and subtropical climates. The dried calyxes of hibiscus flowers are used to make Hibiscus Mint Tea.

steeping notes for hot tea
Boil water to approx. 97°C.
Warm up the teapot.
Put tea and hot water into a pot.
Cover and steep for 3-5 minutes.
Strain tea residues and serve.

Put tea and water in a container.
Cover and refrigerate it to cold brew for 8-12 hours.
Strain the residues and pour tea into a cup.
Cold brewed tea is chilled and ready.

Hibiscus Mint
tarty sicilian hibiscus granita
Sweet, sweet, Granita, a reminiscent of the Sicilian palate, dressed with tarty Hibiscus-Mint blend.
Prerequisites
- 3 cups water
- 200 grams sugar
- 1/4 cup Ochre Organics' Hibiscus-Mint tea
- 1/3 cup fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/3 cup pomegranate grains
- Mint leaves
Steps
- Slow-heat the water, add sugar, and Hibiscus-Mint. Dissolve the sugar and remove it from the heat.
- Remove Hibiscus-Mint residues by straining. Mix in the fresh grape juice and refrigerate until chilled.
- Pour in a few ice cubes, and churn the cold mixture in a blender. Add pomegranate seeds at the fluffy and crunchy stage.
- Scoop the Granita into chilled glasses, garnish with mint leaves, and serve.
